1. Digital Products (Paid Guides)

Our paid guides – including the Hospital Bed Home Setup & Safety Planning Guide and any future paid Digital Products – are delivered immediately as downloadable PDF files upon completion of payment.

ℹ All Digital Product Sales Are Final

Because your guide is delivered instantly as a digital download, we are unable to offer refunds once a purchase is completed. There is no way for us to “undeliver” a digital file, and we cannot verify whether a downloaded file has been read or used.

Before purchasing, please:

  • Read the full product description carefully
  • Review any free sample content or table of contents provided on the product page
  • Contact us with any pre-purchase questions at [INSERT CONTACT EMAIL]

 

Exception: Technical Delivery Failure

If you complete payment but do not receive a working download link, or if the downloaded file is corrupted or otherwise unusable, this is a technical failure on our end and you are entitled to a remedy. Contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will:

  • Provide a working replacement download link within 24 hours, or
  • Issue a full refund if we are unable to deliver a working file

Email hospitalbedrentaldirectory@gmail.com with the subject line “Technical Delivery Failure”, your order confirmation number, the email address used for purchase, and a brief description of the issue. We respond within 1 business day.

Our Discretion

Outside of technical delivery failures, we reserve the right – at our sole and absolute discretion – to issue a refund in exceptional circumstances. This discretion does not create any obligation or expectation of a refund in any case, and exercising this discretion in one case does not set a precedent for future cases.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment processor for a Digital Product purchase without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to contest the chargeback with documentation of delivery, and to restrict your access to future purchases on this Site.

 

2. Paid Supplier Listings

2a. Annual Contract – No Pro-Rated Refunds

Claimed Listings ($34/month, billed annually) and Premium Listings ($89/month, billed annually) are sold on a minimum one-year contract term. By purchasing a paid listing, you agree to the full annual fee regardless of whether you choose to cancel or downgrade before the end of your term.

We do not offer pro-rated refunds for early cancellation within an active annual term. If you cancel before your renewal date, your listing will revert to a Standard (free) listing at the end of your paid term – you will not lose your listing mid-term.

ℹ Before You Commit

We encourage you to review your Supplier Agreement and these Terms carefully before purchasing a paid listing. If you have questions about what is included in each tier, contact us before purchasing. Annual billing means the full year’s fee is charged upfront – please budget accordingly.

2b. Renewal Cancellation

To avoid automatic renewal, you must provide written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before your renewal date. We send a renewal reminder email at least 45 days before your renewal date. If you miss the 30-day cancellation window and are charged for a renewal, we will consider refund requests made within 7 days of the renewal charge on a case-by-case basis – particularly where there is evidence the renewal reminder was not received.

2c. Refund on Involuntary Removal

If we remove your paid listing outside of the 14-day notice-and-cure process described in our Terms of Service – for example, due to a business closure on our end or an error on our part – you are entitled to a pro-rated refund of any prepaid fees covering the period after removal. We will process this refund within 14 days of the removal date.

Removals that follow the notice-and-cure process (where you have been given 14 days to correct inaccurate information and have not done so) are not eligible for a pro-rated refund, as the removal results from a breach of your data accuracy obligations under the Supplier Agreement.

 

3. Free Resources

Free resources – such as the Hospital Bed Rental Supplier Vetting Guide – are provided at no charge. No payment is taken and therefore no refund policy applies. By downloading a free resource you consent to receive email communications from us; you may unsubscribe at any time.

We understand that navigating a hospital bed rental is stressful and often time-sensitive. Our no-refund policy on digital downloads is standard practice for digital products – not a sign that we stand behind our guides any less. If something goes technically wrong with your purchase, we will make it right.
